Who We Are

Local, Passionate & Underwater

Velocity KeelWorks is a locally owned, owner-operated hull cleaning service born on the waters of Annapolis. It was founded by a recent graduate of Annapolis High School and current college student - Henry Meyer - a local who grew up sailing these same waters. Henry is an avid sailboat racer, who competed for his high school sailing team, and now for the University of Vermont on the clear and cold waters of Lake Champlain.

Every job is handled personally. When you schedule a cleaning, Henry shows up with gear, dives under your vessel, and gets to work; no contractors or middlemen.

A barnacle and macro-growth fouled hull can cost you 25–40% of your boat's efficiency. Regular bottom cleaning means better fuel economy, higher top speed, and a hull that stays protected season after season.

What's Included: Full hull scrub from waterline to keel, propeller and running gear cleaning, and a visual inspection report. All dive equipment is supplied by the owner.

Disclaimer Please note pricing will be adjusted and additional fees may be applied to severely fouled hulls, those above a standard length-to-beam ratio (e.g. catamarans or houseboats), or boats exceeding 45ft in length.
